Bellydancing
Many people believe that belly dancing is the oldest form of dance, having roots in all ancient cultures from the Orient to India and the Middle East. The Arabic name for belly dancing is raqs sharqi, however to us in the western world it is known as belly dancing or oriental dance.
The dance often focuses upon isolating different parts of the body, moving them independently in sensuous patterns, weaving together the entire feminine form. Women from all over the world are choosing to try bely dancing for it’s sensuality, feminine energy and focus on positive body image.
The perfect way to get in touch with your body and how it moves. This class focuses predominantly on movement technique and the basics of Belly Dancing. This class is perfect for the first timer, or for those who have a little experience.

We believe that everyone can dance and this amazing dance style will have even the “self-confessed” non-dancer looking great and moving in ways that they never dreamt possible. Our beginners and intermediate classes are both inspirational, and encouraging. Samba no pe’ represents the essence of Brazilian dance culture. It is the dance of the world-famous annual Carnaval celebration, where thousands party in the streets of Brazil, mainly in Rio de Janeiro. The intoxicating rhythms of samba drums lead the solo dancer into an energetic, playful, cheeky and fun dance that can often turn into a performance.
Pregnancy Dance
Dancing is a great way to keep fit and healthy in this special time, while having fun in a supportive environment.
Pregnancy Dance is a specialised program that addresses the needs of pregnant bodies. It increases flexibility, improves circulation, boosts immunity, reduces stress and is a great way to add some low impact exercise to your week.
More than just exercise, dance allows you to connect with yourself and in these classes, you can also enjoy connecting with the beautiful new being inside of you.
You will find getting more in touch with your body of great benefit for the remainder of your pregnancy.
Attending Pregnancy Dance classes is also a great way to prepare for an active labour. You may even find yourself intuitively practicing some of the movements while in labour to ease pain and improve progress. With each class, you will be developing your inner wisdom as you connect with your body.

Wu Tao, the dancing way
Is a classic ‘Yin’ style of dance. Suitable for all ages. It is a powerful dance, exercise, and meditation program that balances Qi (life-force energy) in the body. Using beautiful music and flowing easy dance movements, Wu Tao Dance will restore your balance and health physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Wu Tao Dance workshops are held on the first Thursday of every month from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
