Physiotherapy

Your Physio will assess your Pelvic floor muscles and give specific advice and an exercise regime to alleviate these problems.
- Joints and Muscles, aches and pains
Osteoarthritis is also common at this time.
The most important and clinically proven treatment for these conditions is weight bearing exercise. Your physio is specially trained to first assess your musculo-skeletal symptoms, and then tailor make an exercise program just for you. Treatment is also available in the forms of massage, gentle manipulation, and other modalities.

Acupuncture/Chinese Medicine

- Using a combination of Acupuncture, Chinese Massage, Herbal Medicine and basic dietary advice, Chinese Medicine works to restore the fundamental hormonal balance – represented as the yin and yang. Most common are symptoms of flushing, dryness and decreased libido that respond positively when addressed using Chinese Medicine techniques.

GP

- Our female GP can help treat and diagnose common problems that may be experienced in Menopause such as Hormonal imbalances, Libido issues, hot flushes and also the common women’s health checks such as pap smears and breast examinations.

Naturopath

- Menopausal symptoms like hot flushes, weight gain, poor sleep, irritability are often due to poor liver function.
- Naturopath can help with the liver detox which will then further improve all of the above symptoms. Liver detox is also very important in weight loss. The better the liver works, the faster the metabolism.
